The "80's Music App" was a kind of "period piece" to capture the look and feel of the 80's music genre. The concept was to create a music app that would not only house the classics 80's music, but also stir up memories of the the "Era of Excess" through color schemes, image themes and typography.

The project concept was to take the UI designer through the web design process. This is an important part of any designer’s training to help them understand the basics of the development process. This project would also be useful to me, the designer, as I would come away with a functional web portfolio that I could use in the future.
